About Us

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Alma United Methodist Church online. We love to not only live in our community but to truly be involved. From community events to partnerships with other organizations, we are active within our community and are sharing God's love with others. Please click here to learn more about who we are, our staff, and what we do as a church.

We are a United Methodist Church serving the Alma community since 1873. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ and equip them to transform lives, communities, and the world.

Thanks to you, we are able to continually give back to our community. Each one of our community partners is special and provides a great service to others. There are many opportunities available to volunteer, either with us or one of our partners, so please join us! We would love to have you with us and get to know you.

Keep up with events at our church as well as other activities we participate in.

You can also rent our sanctuary and fellowship hall for your events. Please complete a form here for more information.

Sermon Series

Beginning March 1st

This series will encapsulate our Lenten series and Easter Sunday sermon and focus on the relationship Jesus had to the religious leaders and how their words mattered in how they built their case to have Jesus killed. We will hopefully come to realize the power our words have to hurt people, but how also how powerful our words can be to heal as well.
